Storia
1954 – Foundation
Giuseppe Bensa bought a small plot of land and a house, which he turned into a tavern. The income from the tavern allowed him to gradually buy more vineyards.
Late 1970s – Growth of the estate
By the end of the 1970s the estate covered 10 hectares.
1985 – The winery is born
Giuseppe's sons, Giorgio and Nicolo, who had worked on the farm and previously sold their wine only in bulk, decided to bottle their own wine. This marked the beginning of the La Castellada farm winery, which became known for wines of great finesse and intensity that can develop with age.
