Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the youngest vines in the Le Cinciole vineyards, cultivated organically between 430 and 500 m above sea level. The sites face south-east, with Galestro clay-limestone schist resting on Pietraforte sandstone.
Grapes
60% Sangiovese, 20% Syrah and 20% Merlot.
Vinification
The grapes are selected and harvested by hand. Fermentation begins spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and takes place in cement vats.
Ageing
The wine matures for 12 months in amphorae.
Technical data
Average annual production is reported differently across the two language versions: 4,000 bottles in English and 3,000 bottles in Italian.
Tasting profile
A fruit-forward, approachable wine designed to occupy a friendly, easy-going place in the estate's range.
