1980\nA young couple, Sergio and Franca, driven by a love of nature, set out to find the ideal place to grow grapes. They found it in Sommacampagna, in the Veneto region, at the Le Vigne di San Pietro estate, on the moraine soils of the hills between Verona and Lake Garda.\n\n### 2000\nThe young winemaker Federico Giotto joined the estate as a consultant, aiming to improve wine quality while preserving the terroir and the winery's style.\n\n### Today\nSergio and Franca's son, Carlo Nerozzi, carries on their work. The estate now covers 10 ha, with vineyards on two hills, San Pietro and Balconi Rossi, producing 70,000 bottles. The range includes Custoza DOC, Bardolino DOC, "Corderosa," "Refolo," and "Duecuori," along with newer wines made from the vineyards of partner Giovanni Boscaini: Valpolicella DOC, Valpolicella Ripasso DOC, and Amarone Classico DOC. The wines are served in leading restaurants in Italy and Brazil, as well as New York, Tokyo, and Kyiv.
