Storia
1939
Azienda Agricola Lodali Walter was founded by Giovanni Lodali, who originally made wine for guests at his family restaurant.
1958
Giovanni's son Lorenzo, a graduate of the Alba school of oenology, and Lorenzo's wife Rita released the winery's first cru wines, Barbaresco and Barolo, which soon began to be exported.
2005
Walter Lodali has managed the winery since this year. He has played an important role in its development by upgrading the equipment, refining production methods, and focusing on the best vineyards.
Terroir
The winery is located in the commune of Treiso, in the heart of the Langhe, a UNESCO World Heritage area.

The winery specializes in wines made from local grape varieties such as Nebbiolo. Its first cru wines, Barbaresco and Barolo, were released in 1958 and soon began to be exported. Since 2005, Walter Lodali has upgraded the equipment and refined production methods.
