Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from vineyards on the Salento peninsula in Puglia. Their sunny exposure and red clay soils contribute freshness, flavour and minerality.
Grapes
33% Malvasia Bianca, 33% Chardonnay and 33% Bombino Bianco.
Vinification
The grapes undergo soft pressing at very low temperature. The must is clarified through cold pre-fermentation static settling, then inoculated with yeast and fermented in stainless-steel tanks at 11°C.
Ageing
The wine is refined on its lees for 2–3 months.
Tasting profile
Straw yellow with golden reflections. The bouquet is intense, persistent and fruity, with ripe yellow-fruit notes. The palate is fresh, harmonious and persistent, with an approachable, ready-to-drink style.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 10–12°C. Suitable for traditional Italian dishes, particularly risotto, pasta and pork.
