Label / history
The wine is named after Lucumone, the first Etruscan king to rule Ancient Rome. The name also evokes the Lucumoni, the kings of the Etruscan civilization represented by the ancient city of Heba near Magliano in Toscana. The Mantellassi family created the wine as a tribute to the Etruscans and, in particular, their winemaking skill.
