Vineyard and terroir
Arneis is considered the king of white grapes in the Roero region. The variety is simple and unpretentious, and it shows its full, lively and interesting character in sandy soils. The vines are 25 years old on average, which gives a balance between grape quality and yield.
Vinification
The grapes are destemmed and crushed, then macerated on the skins to extract more colour and aroma. The must is racked and gently pressed, followed by static settling. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine matures on its lees in steel, which gently rounds out the structure and adds depth. After bottling it is given some additional time to rest.
Tasting profile
A bright, refreshing summer white with delicate garden aromas of fruit and flowers.
