Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The wine is associated with Masseria Maìme in Alto Salento, near San Pietro Vernotico in the province of Brindisi. The coastal estate’s vineyards extend between woodland and pine groves toward the sea.
Grapes
100% Negroamaro.
Vinification
For the 2025 vintage, the grapes were destemmed and gently crushed on arrival at the cellar. The must fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks at no more than 26 °C, followed by 8–10 days of maceration. Malolactic fermentation was completed by the beginning of winter.
Ageing
Approximately 10 months in stainless-steel tanks.
Technical data

Ruby red. Raspberry and Marasca cherry aromas meet violet and aromatic-herb notes. The palate opens softly, with sweet tannins supported by freshness and a pleasant fruity aftertaste.

Label / history
Neprica began almost twenty years ago as a wine named from an acronym of the three varieties in its original identity: NEgroamaro, PRImitivo and CAbernet Sauvignon. It later developed into a family of three single-variety wines.
