Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown in Piedmont, where the Alps and the Apennines provide protection from cold winds on three sides.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully sorted, with only the finest fruit retained. They are gently pressed and fermented in barriques for two weeks, followed by partial malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures for nine months in French oak barrels.
Tasting profile
Complex and balanced, with fruit flavours accompanied by notes of butter and toast.
