Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow at 300–400 metres above sea level.
Grapes
The blend is led by Sangiovese.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected in the vineyard, so that only the best bunches reach the winery. Vinification is traditional, with extended skin maceration and fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures for eight months in 30 hL oak casks. After bottling it spends a further three months in the cellar.

Juicy and well made.
Serving and pairing
The wine may be allowed to breathe for 30–40 minutes before serving.
