Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown around Radda-in-Chianti in Tuscany, halfway between Florence and Siena. The wine is organically produced, and the site is distinguished by its microclimate and soils.

Sangiovese is the main component of the blend.
Ageing
Only a small portion of the wine is aged in oak barrels, preserving the bright character of the Sangiovese without prominent woody notes. The 2021 vintage is expected to reach peak maturity between 2026 and 2040.
