Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards occupy a gentle slope in Magrè at 220–350 m above sea level, with south to south-eastern exposure. Their white calcareous gravel soils contain abundant humus. The Mediterranean climate brings hot summers, mild winters and the Ora, the warm afternoon wind arriving from Lake Garda.
Grapes
100% Moscato Giallo.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand. The clarified must ferments for approximately three weeks in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The young wine remains on its fine lees for a further five months before bottling.
Tasting profile
Intense, notably deep straw yellow. The complex aroma combines melon and yellow-fleshed peach with fresh sage in the background. The palate is taut, juicy and zesty, with a crisp character.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 10–12 °C with asparagus risotto or crispy fried artichokes. Store at 10–13 °C in a cool place with at least 60% humidity.
