Grapes

The 2024 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Exact proportions are not specified.

Vinification

The varieties were fermented separately in small stainless-steel tanks to preserve their individual character. Alcoholic fermentation was followed by malolactic fermentation, also in stainless steel.

Ageing

The wine matured for 10 months, partly in barriques previously used for Ornellaia and partly in tanks. This combination was chosen to balance tannic structure with the expression of fresh fruit.

Technical data

Alcohol: 13% vol.

Tasting profile

Bright purple in colour, the 2024 offers fresh cherry and wild-strawberry aromas with elegant menthol nuances that add depth and freshness. The palate combines a bold structure with delicacy and refinement. It is harmonious, balanced, complex and juicy, with an immediately enjoyable character.

Serving and pairing

Its style is presented as versatile, playful and centred on convivial drinking.

Vintage notes

The 2024 growing season started early after mild, rainy weather provided excellent vineyard water reserves. Continued rainfall supported plant development but required attentive vineyard management. Warm, sunny conditions arrived at the end of June, slowing vine growth around véraison in late July and encouraging concentration and aromatic development. Localised mid-August storms helped the grapes finish ripening, while alternating sunny, cool and occasionally rainy days from early September accompanied the harvest. The vintage combined healthy fruit and balanced concentration with freshness and aromatic intensity.
