Vineyard and terroir
The Arneis comes from the “Elisa” vineyard in the commune of Vezza d'Alba. The vines were planted between 1991 and 1994 in soils composed mainly of sandstone and clay.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in mid-September. After crushing, they undergo cold maceration for one day in steel tanks at 12 °C. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 14 °C with selected yeasts.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for six months in stainless steel tanks before bottling.
Tasting profile
Elegant and refreshing, with complex fruity and floral aromas. The palate is smooth and rounded, with pleasant acidity.
