Vineyard and terroir
The vineyard lies in central Tuscany at 280 m above sea level, facing south-east. Its soil consists of Pliocene sands. The Sauvignon Blanc vines are 25 years old and Guyot-trained.
Grapes
100% Sauvignon Blanc.
Vinification
The grapes are pressed directly with their skins. The must undergoes static clarification at low temperature, then ferments in stainless steel at 15°C for 30 days.
Ageing
The wine is kept on its fine lees for 60 days.
Technical data
Toscana IGT Bianco. Annual production ranges from 1,300 to 1,400 bottles.
Tasting profile
Deep straw yellow, tending toward gold with age. The expressive yet refined bouquet features citrus and exotic fruit. The palate is vibrantly fresh, with well-integrated acidity and a long finish that recalls citrus and herbs.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 10–12°C with shellfish, white meats or dishes featuring white truffle, or enjoy as an aperitif.
