Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from younger vines, which give the wine a distinctive freshness and character. The winery team tends the vines throughout the year.
Grapes
The Sangiovese Grosso grapes are carefully selected.
Vinification
Vinification begins with hand sorting, followed by gentle destemming. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks, with the wine staying in contact with the grape skins for 15–20 days.
Ageing
The wine is aged in 1,500-litre Slavonian oak barrels, which add depth and complexity.
Tasting profile
Elegant and fruity, with a soft structure. It is called a "young" Brunello and expresses the style and substance of Brunello.
Label / history
Around 5,000 bottles are produced each year.
