Label / history
The label has featured three flower sellers since 1954. “Le Fioraie” means “the flower sellers” in Italian and is the name of the place where the estate is located.
According to legend, many centuries ago a pilgrim monk fainted near the estate during an unbearably hot summer after a long journey. Three local sisters who sold flowers revived him with a glass of wine. He continued his pilgrimage, then returned several months later and began building a small church before planting several vines.
