Vineyard and terroir
The wine belongs to the Tenuta Plozner range from Barbeano di Spilimbergo, in the heart of the Grave DOC area. The estate lies at approximately 140 metres above sea level on alluvial deposits laid down by the Meduna, Cellina and Tagliamento rivers after the retreat of the Alpine glaciers. About 70% of the plain consists of stones and gravel, providing free drainage. The estate reports a vineyard density of 6,000 vines per hectare.
