Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from Tenuta Plozner at Barbeano di Spilimbergo, in the Friuli Grave area. The estate stands at 140 m above sea level on an upper Friulian plain composed of approximately 70% stones and gravel. The alluvial material was deposited by the Meduna, Cellina and Tagliamento rivers after the Alpine glaciers melted. The gravel drains abundant spring rain, while the Carnic Alps and nearby maritime currents help moderate the climate.
The vines are Guyot trained, planted at 6,000 vines/ha and oriented north–south. Tenuta Plozner comprises 43 ha of vines and has been under conversion to organic farming since 2013.

Tasting profile
An elegant perlage of fine bubbles frames distinct pear aromas. The palate combines softness with a dry impression sustained by lively acidity.
