Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The Sangiovese is grown in estate vineyards in Radda in Chianti, planted between 1984 and 2004 at 5,000 vines per hectare and trained to Guyot. The estate vineyards lie at 400–500 metres above sea level with south to south-west exposure. Their well-drained soils contain abundant stones originating from decomposed galestro rock.
Grapes
100% Sangiovese.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand, normally between the end of September and the first ten days of October, and are carefully selected before processing.
