Tasting profile
The 2016 has the classic transparent yet deep red colour of Sangiovese. Its aroma opens with a distinctly mineral character, supported by delicate cherry and redcurrant notes. On the palate, the tannins are composed and remain integrated with the structure. The long finish highlights the elegance, harmony and depth inherent in this expression of Sangiovese.
Vintage notes
The 2016 growing season was broadly normal and not excessively warm, remaining balanced overall and offering promising conditions. Gradual ripening produced a crisp, juicy finish rich in tannic substance.
