Label / history
First made in 1999, the wine emerged from a 20-year vine-replanting experiment intended to revive traditional regional varieties that had almost disappeared, including Bombino, Bellone, Bonvino and Greco Bianco. Originally named “Selezione Verde,” it was later renamed “Poggio Verde,” meaning “green hill.”
