Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from approximately 5.7 ha of vines planted in 1998. The vineyards lie at 150–350 m above sea level, face south-southeast and have predominantly sandy soils. Planting density is 4,800 vines per hectare.
Grapes
The blend consists mainly of Catarratto, a variety widely grown in Sicily, with a small proportion of other native white varieties.
