Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in Salento, Puglia. Sandy and clay soils combine with bright sunshine and cool sea breezes, supporting aromatic ripeness and vibrant acidity.
Grapes
100% Zinfandel.
Vinification
The grapes are destemmed and crushed, then macerated and fermented at controlled temperature for 8–10 days with regular pump-overs. After draining, malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine receives four months of oak ageing.
Tasting profile
Intense ruby red with violet reflections. The nose is intensely fruity, led by red fruit. Full-bodied and soft on the palate, with noticeable tannins and a harmonious balance. It is ready to drink.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 16–18°C. Pair with rich first courses, red meat, game and medium-aged cheeses.
