Vineyard and terroir
Faset is a geographical mention in the municipality of Barbaresco. It lies near the Rocche, described as the continuation of MGA Asili. The soil is calcareous clay.

Vinification
The vineyard is harvested by hand into small crates once physiological maturity has been reached, with ripeness assessed through the grape pips. Two manual selections are carried out before vinification to retain intact fruit.
Fermentation takes place exclusively in wooden vats, initiated with a pied de cuve made from indigenous yeasts. It lasts approximately 10 days. Traditional submerged-cap maceration follows for approximately 60–70 days.
Ageing
The wine matures for approximately five years in neutral oak and concrete vats.
