Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The Moscato Giallo grows in a vineyard of just 0.5 hectares on the hill known as Collina d’Oro.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at full ripeness and dried on mats until February. Once raisined, they are pressed, yielding concentrated juice with high levels of sugar and acidity. Natural fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine remains in the same stainless-steel tanks for six months, followed by one month in bottle.
Label / history
The hill takes its name from the golden reflections that shimmer across it at sunset. Annual production is 1,500 bottles.
