Vinification
Made by the Traditional Method, with secondary fermentation in bottle. The wine matures on its lees for at least 30–36 months before riddling and disgorgement.
Ageing
After disgorgement, the wine rests in bottle for a further six months before release.
Technical data

Tasting profile
A lively straw-yellow colour of medium depth accompanies a well-formed mousse and numerous fine, elegant bubbles rising at a moderate pace. The nose is youthful and fragrant, led by white peach, loquat and apricot, with a broad floral expression of elderflower. Crisp freshness and finely delineated aromas give a harmonious impression, while a persistent note of fresh bread crumb adds restrained complexity.
The palate closely echoes the aromas. Mature, complex flavours are supported by a fresh backbone that enlivens and lengthens the wine. A delicate citrus accent brightens the mid-palate, and fine salinity reinforces its structure. Firm and soft elements remain balanced, producing a dynamic, characterful finish.
Label / history
First produced in 1978, it was the first sparkling wine made in the Langhe.
