Nobile comes from 22.5 ha of the “Salcheto” vineyards in Montepulciano.

100% Prugnolo Gentile.
Ageing
Matured for 18 months, with 70% in botte and 30% in tonneaux, followed by six months of bottle refinement.
Technical data
The 2022 has 13.5% alcohol, 5.83 g/L total acidity, pH 3.41, 0.95 g/L residual sugar and 27.50 g/L dry extract. It records 3,420 phenols, color tonality of 0.81 and color intensity of 8.06. Production was 160,000 bottles. The wine uses natural cork and a 370 g Salcheto Light Bordeaux bottle in the 750 ml format. Available sizes are 375 ml, 750 ml, 1.5 L, 3 L, 5 L and 18 L.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 18–20°C. Expected drinking window: 8–10 years.
Vintage notes
The 2022 season was defined by extreme heat and drought, followed by favorable conditions toward the end of the season that preserved freshness and balance.
