Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the wine regions of Veneto, Friuli and Trentino.
Vinification
Harvest takes place during the first ten days of September. The whole bunches are gently pressed, and fermentation proceeds in steel tanks at a controlled low temperature.
Ageing
The wine is bottled in the spring following the harvest and then rests for a further two months in bottle in the winery’s cellars.

Vintage notes
In Veneto, the winter and spring of 2022 were marked by almost no rainfall and unusually erratic temperatures. Budbreak was delayed, but subsequent high temperatures and severe drought brought flowering forward by ten days. The summer included 50 extremely hot days. Rain in late August and early September allowed the grapes to reach ideal ripeness while retaining acidity and freshness. Yields were approximately 20% below the average of the preceding five years.
