Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from vineyards in the Morainic Hills, between Bardolino, Lazise, Affi and Cavaion in the province of Verona.
Grapes
The blend combines Corvina Veronese, Rondinella and Molinara. Corvina Veronese contributes the wine’s distinctive character, Rondinella brings lively aromatic notes, and Molinara adds brightness to the bouquet.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and gently pressed. The must remains briefly in contact with the skins at 5 °C, then ferments at a controlled temperature of 26–28 °C for 6–8 days. Malolactic fermentation follows.
Ageing
The wine rests for 3–4 months in stainless-steel tanks, followed by additional time in bottle in the winery’s cellars before release.
