Ageing
The Riserva matures for 50 months before release. Ageing takes place in large Slavonian oak casks and continues in bottle. This prolonged maturation gives the wine complexity, finesse and a smooth texture.
Tasting profile
Rich and elegant, with spicy and floral aromas. The palate is warm and persistent, framed by sweet, silky tannins. It has substantial capacity for ageing.
Serving and pairing
Pair with roast lamb, duck, oven-roasted ham, rabbit, and strongly flavoured or mature cheeses. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
