Label / history
Antonio Moretti acquired Poggio al Lupo after recognizing its winemaking potential. Sette Ponti takes its name, meaning “seven bridges,” from seven bridges across the Reno River; the winery stands near one of them. The estate’s history began in 1957, when architect Alberto Moretti purchased the 50 ha property from Princesses Maria Cristina and Margherita of Savoy. His son Antonio Moretti now owns it.
