Vineyard and terroir
The wine comes from Vigna di Pallino in Central Tuscany. Its Sangiovese vines are 20–30 years old, trained to spurred cordon at 250 m above sea level with south-eastern exposure. Production is 80 quintals, or 8,000 kg, per hectare.

100% Sangiovese.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled fermentation and maceration last 18 days.
Ageing
The wine matures for approximately one year in large barrels and receives a further six months of bottle ageing.

Published vintage: 2020. Alcohol is 14.5% by volume. Recommended serving temperature is 18 °C.
Tasting profile
Intense ruby red. The fuller description evokes fresh fruit, wild violet, berries, cherry and plum, while the technical profile summarizes the bouquet as fruity with integrated spicy undertones. The palate is velvety, deep and well balanced: full, round, structured and pleasantly soft, with a mouth-filling texture and persistent finish.
