Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown in Menfi, in southwestern Sicily, on low-fertility, stony soils that impart a pronounced mineral character to the grapes and wine.
Vinification
The grapes undergo maceration for 8–10 days at 22–25 °C.
Ageing
The wine rests for three months in steel tanks at 10 °C, followed by three months in bottle.
