Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from deep sandy-clay soils around Bolzano and Appiano. Lagrein has been grown in Alto Adige since the 14th century and is unusual in producing both excellent red and rosé wines. Today its wines are considered among the region's finest reds.
Vinification
Fermentation is traditional, carried out in barrels.
Ageing
The wine was aged for several months in large wooden casks, which add structure without overpowering the fruit.
Tasting profile
Juicy, full-bodied and deep, with the velvety texture typical of Lagrein. The style is modern and elegant, with a clear profile and a strong sense of place.
Vintage notes
2024 brought balanced ripeness, giving the wine freshness and depth in equal measure.
