Vineyard and terroir
The vines grow at elevations of 600–900 metres and are 10 to 30 years old. The text notes that Müller-Thurgau is especially widespread in South Tyrol.
Grapes
Müller-Thurgau is an aromatic German variety, a cross of Gutedel and Riesling, grown in several regions across Europe.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand in the second half of September and carefully sorted by hand. The must ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vats.
Ageing
The wine ages on its lees for 6 months in the same stainless steel vats.
Tasting profile
Clean, fresh and elegant, in a style very typical of South Tyrol.
Serving and pairing
Best enjoyed within 2–3 years of release.
