Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from estate vineyards outside the Montalcino area, on a south-western slope at 220 m above sea level. The 20-year-old vines are trained to spurred cordon. The brown soil has a clay-loam texture, limestone plates and rounded stones.
Grapes
The latest published vintage is 2025. Its English technical information describes a blend of approximately 80% Sangiovese and Petit Verdot.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled maceration and alcoholic fermentation take place in stainless-steel tanks at 28–29°C.
Ageing
Only the Sangiovese matures for several months in oak barrels. It is subsequently blended with Petit Verdot, which completes its maturation in stainless steel, and the finished wine rests in bottle before release.
