Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
All the fruit comes from the single “Fabriseria” vineyard in the Valpolicella Classico area. Yields are very low, comparable to those used for Amarone.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested later than usual, when slightly overripe.
Ageing
The wine matures for two years in Slavonian oak barrels, followed by six months in bottle.
Label / history
The wine was completely reworked from its original, more international style, which included Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend. The current version uses four local varieties and is intended to express Tedeschi’s style and the connection between Valpolicella’s native grapes and their terroir.
