Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are selected from hillside vineyards in Valpolicella.
Grapes
Corvina, Rondinella, Oseleta and Merlot.
Vinification
Thirty percent of the grapes undergo partial appassimento for approximately 45 days. Fermentation lasts 12 days under temperature control at 25–30 °C.
Ageing
The wine matures for 12 months in 65 hl Slavonian oak casks.

Alcohol: 13% vol. Bottle format: 750 ml.
Tasting profile
Deep, intense ruby red. The pronounced bouquet combines ripe red fruit—raspberry, sour cherry and plum—with ethereal and spicy nuances. The palate is harmonious, soft and warm, with savoury balance and excellent persistence through the finish.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 16–18 °C. A versatile wine for the entire meal, particularly with uncomplicated dishes, white or red meat, and medium-aged cheeses.
Label / history
The name refers to the traditional wooden and bamboo racks called arele, on which grapes rest during drying. The wine combines indigenous and international varieties within the appassimento tradition.
