The grapes are grown at the Masseria Surani estate in Manduria, in the heart of Puglia. The Surani property covers 80 ha.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks for 10 days.
Ageing
The wine matures in oak barrels for six months.
Label / history
The name refers to Ares, the Greek god of war.
