Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in the vineyards of the Masseria Surani estate in the heart of Apulia.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes undergo one day of maceration, followed by a 10-day fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine rests in bottle for four months after bottling.

The wine takes its name from Helios, the Greek god of the sun.
