Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in Montalcino, Tuscany, at 600 m above sea level. The terrain is stony and marly, with abundant skeletal material in the southeast and southwest areas. Vines are trained to a balanced unilateral spurred cordon.

Trebbiano and Malvasia.
Vinification
The grapes are selected by hand and dried in keeping with Tuscan tradition. A three-month period is indicated before the extended maturation phase.
Ageing
Five years in small oak and chestnut caratelli.
Technical data
D.O.C. Harvest takes place in October. Alcohol: 13% vol.
Tasting profile
Bright amber with golden highlights. The aroma is delicate and marked by dried fruit. The palate is soft yet powerful, with a dense, velvety character.
Serving and pairing
A traditional match for biscuits, particularly Cantucci.
