Vineyard and terroir
The Sangiovese comes from Podere Ca’Grande, whose vineyards face south and south-east. The clayey, medium-textured soil supports vines averaging 15 years of age. Yield is 95 quintals per hectare (9.5 tonnes per hectare).
Grapes
100% Sangiovese. The published release is the 2025 vintage.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in vertical stainless-steel vinifiers at controlled temperature, with a medium-length maceration.
Ageing
The wine matures for six months in stainless-steel tanks.
Technical data
Romagna DOC Sangiovese Superiore. Alcohol is 12.5% vol. Available in 0.375, 0.750 and 1.5-litre bottles.
Tasting profile
Red with violet reflections. The bouquet is fruity and floral, combining rose, violet and plum. The palate is dry, harmonious, firm and elegant, with youthful tannins.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 14°C with meat starters, first courses or main courses. Its evolution can be enjoyed during the two years following harvest.
