Vineyard and terroir

The grapes come from Podere Parolino, whose exposures run north/north-west and east/south-east. The soils are clay-based and partly stony or pebbly. The vineyards average 10 years of age and yield 100 quintals per hectare (10 t/ha).

Grapes

Trebbiano, Chardonnay and Sauvignon; percentages are not specified. Chardonnay contributes fruit, Sauvignon the aromatic component, and Trebbiano acidity and character.

Vinification

The clusters are gently pressed, followed by fermentation at a controlled 15–16 °C.

Ageing

The wine matures for 3 months in stainless-steel tanks.

Technical data

Trebbiano Chardonnay Rubicone IGT. The published vintage is 2025. Alcohol: 13% vol. Available in 0.375 L and 0.75 L bottles.

Tasting profile

Pale straw yellow. The bouquet is intense and persistent, with ripe Golden Delicious apple, pear and a delicate banana note on the finish. The palate is fresh, harmonious and suitably savoury, with a clean, full expression of the three varieties.

Serving and pairing

Serve at 8–10 °C. Pair with fish-based starters, pâté-based first courses, grilled fish, and fresh or creamy cheeses. Specific suggestions include mozzarella in carrozza, shrimp-and-avocado uramaki, and tortellini in broth.

Label / history

MOMA is an acronym for “My Own Masterpiece.” Conceived as a tribute to art, the line’s first label was dedicated to Giorgio Morandi.
