Vineyard and terroir
Resultum comes from Podere Miravalle, a north-east-facing site with clayey, calcareous soil.
Grapes
100% Sangiovese. The current published vintage is 2021.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and the berries carefully selected. Vinification then takes place under temperature control in concrete vats and cocciopesto amphorae.
Technical data
Alcohol: 14% vol. Available formats: 750 ml and 1.5 L.
Tasting profile
Silky in texture yet supported by powerful tannin. The intense bouquet brings together violet, rose, iris and peony with plum and blackberry. The wine is structured and intended for long ageing.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 18–20°C.
