Vineyard and terroir
The fruit grows on high hillsides in Trentino’s Cembra Valley, at elevations of 500–800 metres. A cool climate and wide differences between daytime and nighttime temperatures accentuate the variety’s distinctive aroma.
Grapes
Müller-Thurgau was developed in 1882 by the German researcher Hermann Müller in the Swiss canton of Thurgau by combining Riesling Renano and Madeleine Royale.
