Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the Santa Cristina estate in Peschiera del Garda, where the vineyards lie south of Lake Garda on clay and chalk soils. The fruit develops a distinctive, complex aroma.
Vinification
After harvest, the grapes ferment in stainless-steel tanks for 15–20 days at a controlled temperature of 16–18 °C.
Ageing
The wine rests for 4–5 months in steel tanks, followed by 2–3 months in bottle.
Serving and pairing
It pairs with a wide range of dishes, particularly freshwater lake fish.
