About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The Negroamaro is grown in Salento, where the hot, dry climate helps the berries develop greater concentration. Clay soils add structure and depth to the wine. The grapes come from old family vineyards.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness. Maceration and fermentation take place at a controlled temperature for around 10 days, which extracts colour and aroma without overloading the wine with tannins.
Ageing
The wine is aged in steel tanks, which preserves its pure fruit profile and highlights the natural juiciness of Negroamaro.
Tasting profile
Expressive, with juicy fruit and a soft, smooth texture. Ripe cherry and plum notes are gradually joined by hints of Mediterranean herbs and spice. Full-bodied yet lively and balanced.
Label / history
