About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from selected Montepulciano vines in the “Capomandra” vineyard.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo a long maceration on the skins in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine rests for 18 months in stainless-steel tanks, followed by 18 months in barrels of French oak (80%) and American oak (20%). Half of the barrels are new and half are second-use. Before release, it ages for a further 12 months in bottle in the cellars of the Agriverde estate.
