About this wine
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the company's own vineyards, on limestone soils at the foot of the Carnic Alps. The mountains moderate the climate and help create significant differences between daytime and nighttime temperatures.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in September and carefully sorted. After low-temperature maceration, fermentation takes place partly in stainless-steel tanks and partly in oak barrels.
Ageing
The wine ages on its lees for 12–14 months in the same vessels, stainless steel and oak, and then matures further in bottle.
Tasting profile
Expressive in flavour and aroma, with an elegant freshness. Freshness and richness are brought together in a balanced way.
Serving and pairing
Serve chilled. It suits fried fish, grilled shrimp, oysters, scallops and Japanese dishes.
